Your insoles arrived—now what?
The left insole is on top of a standard shoe insole. Example of trim straight. Narrow is good.
Easy! Follow these simple steps to trim them for the perfect fit and get started:
1. Identify the top side: The fabric side of the insoles is the top.
2. Align your foot: Place your foot on the insole with your toes aligned to the edge.
3. Trace your foot: Use a pen or marker to outline around your foot on the insole. Trim straight. Do not follow curvature of foot.
4. Start trimming: Begin by trimming the heel and sides.
5. Check the fit: Only trim the heel portion if necessary.
Placement Options:
The insoles can be used in multiple ways:
• Place them on top of the existing insole in your boot liner.
• Place them underneath the existing insole.
• Or use them to replace the original insole.
Can also be places under boot liner.
Try all versions to find the best feel and fit for your boots.
Fine Tuning
Step 1, Record and Test Movement
1. Choose a Movement: Select a common activity, such as walking, lunging, squatting, or jogging.
2. Record Without the Insoles: Perform the movement barefoot or with your regular insoles and record a side and back view. Focus on capturing your feet, ankles, and overall alignment.
3. Record With the Double Thin Insoles: Insert the trimmed insoles into your shoes, repeat the movement, and record it again.
4. Compare Videos: Look for differences in alignment, fluidity, and comfort with and without the insoles.
Step 2, Sensations to Observe
While testing, focus on how your feet and body feel. With the double thin insoles, you should notice:
• Toes: Freely wiggling, with no restriction.
• Heel: Secure but able to adjust slightly within the shoe for natural movement.
• Foot Mobility: A sense of freedom and flexibility, allowing your foot to move naturally inside the shoe.
• Ankle & Hip: Reduced stiffness and improved fluidity in ankle and hip joints.
• Knee Alignment: No twisting or tension; the knee joint should feel stable and aligned.
Step 3, Refine and Adjust
• After testing, make small trimming adjustments if needed for optimal comfort.
• Use the recorded videos to evaluate improvements in movement patterns and body alignment with the insoles.
This process ensures your insoles are perfectly fitted and allows you to experience their full benefits while understanding the difference they make in your movement
patterns.
That’s it! Enjoy exploring the benefits of your new insoles.
